Pasadena, CA - Extensive experience as a professional geriatric care manager and as a nursing home administrator are
among the many strengths Larissa Stepanians, GCM, MSG, NHA, brings to Huntington Home Care, a company providing quality
care and companionship to seniors by offering non-medical, in-home assistance.
Stepanians, a former Vice President of Operations and licensed administrator for a leading nursing home chain,
founded Huntington Home Care with her husband Carlo in order to work closely with seniors to provide assistance
and services they need to live safely and independently in their own homes.
"As a professional geriatric care manager, I enjoy working closely with seniors and their families," Stepanians said.
"There is so much gratification that comes from finding and implementing creative solutions from a network of senior services."
Stepanians' interest in geriatric care and issues began as she completed her Master's degree from USC's Leonard Davis School of
Gerontology. She also received Long Term Care Certification from USC's School of Policy Planning and Development. She is licensed
as a nursing home administrator, licensed preceptor for administrator-in-training program, and is a certified administrator of
residential care facility for the elderly. Stepanians is one of only three Professional Geriatric Care Managers in Pasadena with
membership in the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.
She was appointed to the City of Pasadena Senior Commission on July 23, 2007, and is a member of Pasadena's Elder Abuse Task Force,
the San Gabriel Valley Focal Point Consortium, San Gabriel Valley Certified Nursing Assistants Annual Award Task Force, Pasadena Rotary,
the Pasadena Fiduciary Round Table and the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership.
Stepanians lives in Pasadena with her husband Carlo and their 10-month-old daughter, Sophia.
